Game Completion Competition ? Chris' Week 5 Blog

Here we meet again. Unlike my fellow podcast peers, I have not brought any donuts with me today. ?Almost every day, habitually Barry would remind me of not scoring any points. ?Little by little the inner Michael Jordan within me would get riled up. ?Little by Little I found myself creeping back into a torrent, a barrage of game completion awesomeness. ?Now the games have begun. ?Now that we have entered the month of?September it will be?completions?of epic proportions.

I finally put the cap on Bastion, which was a really good game, and i?m kind?of?glad I didn?t purchase it many moons ago. ?Now there may be some contention over the fact that I spent 11?hours?playing Bastion, a game that takes about half the time to beat. ?Now I didn?t spend that time to trying to dilly-dally or mess around and try to rack up points. ?I spent a lot of that time completing the various weapon challenges and leveling up. ?I understand though I will try my hardest to not do the same with any other game. ?but if I want to spend some time?completing?side objectives and?getting?collectibles in a game such as Assassins Creed or Saints Row, I will.

Moving on I played through The Walking Dead: Episode 3 which I?ll leave my impressions for this weeks podcast (hopefully it?ll go down). ?It was good as always and I almost spent close to three hours playing through it. ?Unfortunately I?m going to have to wait another four years until the next episode is released. ?I?m going to cut this short right here, but I look to get back into Assassins Creed, and hopefully finish Dust. ?Of course I cannot forget Darksiders (don?t worry my love we will reunite soon enough).
