   was it BETTER that they instead added the $ 3 TRILLION cost to the US debt?

   Thanks to Bush and the Repubs,
   we now owe over $ 12 TRILLION!
   That?s about $ 40,000 PER PERSON.

   It will not work, people need the money to spend to keep the economy going. Once the economy is in good shape then it is time to tax.

   I cannot see how it can be a good thing. Even Democrats in Washington are saying raising taxes now is not a good thing.
   It is hard to imagine things getting worse but, already this summer unemployment is up last month the stock market took a hit last week.

   The periods of prosperity in our history were preceded by very high taxes. Supply-side conservatism and anti-tax groups are liars, at best.
